I enjoyed my stay in the Aloha Room for 3 nights. The outdoor shower was a fun touch. Incredible views during sunset. Plenty of towels were provided, and the bed was very comfortable. Nature surrounded us with singing birds. 🦜

This place suits me perfectly with free parking, snorkeling gear, and a shared kitchen. The staff were incredibly helpful to my elderly parents during my first stay. I highly recommend it for a comfortable holiday. I’ll be back!

The Orchid Suite was spacious and just a 2-minute walk to the beach. I loved waking up to birds singing every morning! The place offered snorkeling gear and had an outdoor kitchen with a great ocean view. I even saw a whale jump from my balcony!
Felt special, nothing too much trouble.

Our stay was perfect as we spent our days just steps away from Kahalu'u Beach Park, where the kids loved snorkeling and we all enjoyed the easy swimming access. The Seaside Suite was spacious, and the comfortable beds made for restful nights. The ocean view added to our experience!
In my wife’s opinion, the quiet hours are tough with kids running around. A little more soundproofing would be great for families with children.

Big Island Retreat exudes a charming Hawaiian style, with beautifully decorated rooms and lush tropical plants. The outdoor kitchen was a great convenience, and the ambiance made it easy for seniors to feel comfortable and relaxed.
More shaded seating areas for comfort would be beneficial.

The outdoor kitchen was a highlight for me—perfect place to grill while soaking in the sunset with fellow travelers. It felt good to enjoy a chilled beer from the fridge after getting my hands sandy from snorkeling right across the street.
Wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for what you get.

We loved snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach Park, only steps away. The beach chairs and gear were super helpful. Also, we checked out White Sand Beach—absolutely gorgeous! Gigi, our host, was friendly and always there to help. Great place for a group getaway!
it can be stressful if you're trying to cancel or change plans.

Had a great time cooking in the outdoor kitchen every evening while catching the amazing sunset views. Gigi, the host, really made us feel welcome, checking in with us daily to ensure we got the best from our trip.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but felt fair for what we got.

We stayed in the Seaside Suite and loved the outdoor kitchen and beach equipment available for borrowing. The place felt like a hidden gem, and we especially enjoyed the incredible view from our room! Plus, it was super quiet—just the sounds of ocean waves.
Felt truly spoilt, no complaints whatsoever.
